Kantech EntraPass Global Edition Certification Training

⚠️ IMPORTANT — This training is restricted to companies that have a contractual agreement with Kantech and are authorized to participate in the EntraPass Global Edition program.

The Kantech Global Edition program is a restricted program available only to integrator companies that have been approved by Kantech.
Companies that are not part of the Global Edition program are not eligible for this training.

Training Overview

This interactive online certification training is designed for integrators looking to become Kantech EntraPass Global Edition certified. This course builds on prior EntraPass knowledge and focuses specifically on the Global Edition platform, its architecture, and its advanced programming capabilities.

Certification enables eligible integrators to work with EntraPass Global Edition in accordance with Kantech’s accreditation requirements. The EntraPass Global Edition certification is granted at the company level in accordance with Kantech’s certification policies. This training is available exclusively to security system integrators. End-users may attend but will only receive a certificate of completion, and technical support remains exclusive to certified integrators.

⚠️ Important: This is not a Corporate Edition certification course. Participants must already have successfully completed EntraPass Corporate Edition certification, and their company must be approved by Kantech for Global Edition.

Training Details

Duration: 4 hours.

Format: Online webinar.

Interactivity: Real-time screen sharing between the instructor and participants.

Requirement: 100% attendance is mandatory. Successful completion of the training requirements set by Kantech is required for certification.

Languages: Training is available in English or French.

Training Equipment

This training does not include any shipped equipment or hardware training kit.

Because this course is delivered entirely online and focuses on software configuration and Global Edition concepts, participants are expected to attend using their own computer and internet connection.

Training Program

During the training, participants will learn how to:

• ✅ Understand the key differences between EntraPass Corporate Edition and EntraPass Global Edition.
• ✅ Configure and program an access control system with doors, cards, access levels, and schedules.
• ✅ Program advanced Global Edition features such as areas, dual custody, virtual alarm system, and global relay triggers.
• ✅ Configure and work with the KT-NCC controller.
• ✅ Understand the advantages of a KT-NCC compared to the Global Windows Gateway.
• ✅ Learn key features introduced in recent EntraPass versions.

Recommended System Requirements

Each participant must use their own laptop with administrative rights and the following minimum specifications:

• Operating System: Windows 10 Pro/Enterprise or Windows 11 Pro (latest service packs and updates applied).
• Processor: Intel Core i5 (Quad Core) or higher.
• RAM: 8GB minimum.
• Internet: Stable high-speed internet connection.
• Audio: Functional microphone and speakers or headset.
• Software: Computer must be capable of running the online meeting platform used for the session.

Registration & Cancellation Policy

Pre-registration is required; no walk-ins allowed.

Once registered, participants will be placed on a waiting list until a training date is scheduled. The participant is free to accept or decline the proposed date.

Upon acceptance of the proposed date, no cancellations or refunds will be permitted.

No refunds will be provided for absence on a confirmed date, inadequate participation, failure to meet the course requirements, or failure to obtain certification.

Because no equipment is shipped for this training, no equipment return process applies.

After accepting the proposed date, the participant may receive preparatory materials or instructions. Any required preparation must be completed before the training day, without exception.
